In the early driving montage, the camera scans past the Court House (tall white clock tower) and a smaller green building, both located on the Square in Covington, Georgia. This small green building is also used for exterior shots of "The Mystic Grill" from The Vampire Diaries (2009). Furthermore, this building has been turned into a restaurant called "The Mystic Grill" in honor of the show. Additionally, the clock tower can be seen in every episode of the television series In the Heat of the Night (1988). See more »
